Aloha, and Welcome

I'm Diana J. Gardner, the wedding planner behind Alohana Kauaʻi Weddings. For more than 24 years, I've had the privilege of welcoming couples from around the world to celebrate one of life's most meaningful moments here on the beautiful island of Kauaʻi.

Over the years, I've planned more than 1,000 weddings and elopements, from intimate beach ceremonies and lush botanical gardens to elegant private estates and luxury resorts. While every celebration is unique, my approach has always remained the same:

 to truly understand each couple's vision and create a wedding that feels authentic, personal, and beautifully reflective of their story.

I believe the planning experience should be just as enjoyable as the wedding day itself. Planning a destination wedding from thousands of miles away can feel overwhelming, which is why my goal is to make the journey feel exciting, effortless, and enjoyable. Through thoughtful guidance, trusted local relationships, creative collaboration, and meticulous attention to every detail, I strive to give each couple complete confidence, allowing them to relax and fully enjoy the experience.

My background in hospitality management, culinary arts, floral design and event planning has shaped the way I approach every celebration. It taught me that exceptional weddings are never just about beautiful flowers or stunning locations. They're about creating an experience where every detail is thoughtfully considered and every guest feels genuinely welcomed and cared for.

One of the greatest joys of my work is introducing couples to the island I love. From breathtaking ceremony locations and exceptional venues to Kauaʻi's talented wedding professionals, I enjoy sharing the people and places that make this island so extraordinary.

Even after all these years, the moment that never loses its magic is watching a couple see everything come together for the very first time. Seeing their smiles, the emotion, and the excitement as their vision becomes reality reminds me why I continue to love what I do. It is truly an honor to be entrusted with such an important chapter in a couple's lives.
